Acceptance and scope
These Terms apply to the Starland app (Chinese name: 记忆岛). Service provider: Shukuinan. Privacy contact: treeos001@gmail.com.
By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service and acceptable use
Starland helps you record, organise and revisit personal memories on your device. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for content you submit or store and must have the required rights and permissions. Do not use the app for unlawful, infringing, harassing, disruptive, or harmful activity. You retain rights in your own content.
Local data, permissions and subscriptions
The current version has no account system or cloud sync. Your memory content is stored on your device and is not uploaded to the cloud. The current version does not support deleting memories inside the app; uninstalling the app or changing devices may make it unavailable. Manage backups through your device settings.
Microphone and photo-library access is requested only when you use features that need it, and can be managed in system settings.
Paid subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled through Apple’s subscription management flow. Price, trial, tax, and features are as shown by the App Store at purchase.
Intellectual property, changes and contact
Except for your content, the app, its interface, software, and marks are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, compliance, or product development, with reasonable notice where appropriate.
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
